In short: I only collect what I need to send you the free lesson, deliver your purchase and keep in touch if you agree. I never sell your information, and you can unsubscribe or ask me to delete your details at any time.
Who I am
McGlenn Learns ("I", "me", "my") is a small online education business run by McGlenn Guimary. I create and sell the Claude AI Mastery Course, an independent course about using Claude. You can contact me at mee.guim@zohomail.com.
What information I collect
When you ask for the free lesson through my sign-up form, I collect:
- your first name and email address
- your country
- your experience level with Claude
- what you would like to use Claude for, if you choose to tell me
- your consent to receive emails from me
When you get the free lesson or buy the course on Gumroad, Gumroad collects your email address and the payment details needed for checkout. Gumroad shares your name (if given), email address and order details with me so I can support your purchase. I never see or store your full card details.
When you email me, I receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
When you visit this website, I may use privacy-friendly analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. This tells me general information such as page views and the type of device used, and is not used to identify you.
How I use your information
- to send you the free lesson and deliver the course you bought
- to send occasional emails about the course, tips and new resources, but only if you agreed to receive them
- to answer your questions and handle refunds or support requests
- to understand who the course helps most, so I can improve it
- to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
Emails and unsubscribing
I only send marketing emails if you ticked the consent box. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also reply to any email or write to me to stop them. I will act on your request promptly. Order receipts and download emails related to your purchase may still be sent, because they are part of delivering what you bought.
Who I share your information with
I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. I use a few trusted services to run this business, and they handle your information on my behalf:
- Tally, for the free lesson sign-up form
- Gumroad, for checkout, payments, taxes and file delivery
- Cloudflare, for hosting this website and visit statistics
- Zoho Mail, for my business email
- an email newsletter service, if I start sending emails through one
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. I may also share information if the law requires it.
Where your information is stored
The services above may store and process information in countries other than your own, including the United States and countries in Europe. By using this website and its forms, you understand your information may be transferred to and handled in those countries.
How long I keep it
I keep your sign-up details for as long as you are subscribed, and for a reasonable time after you unsubscribe so I respect that choice. Purchase records are kept for as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me to:
- tell you what personal information I hold about you
- correct information that is wrong
- delete your information, unless I need to keep it for legal reasons
- stop sending you marketing emails
Email mee.guim@zohomail.com and I will respond as soon as I can. If you are not satisfied with my response, you may be able to contact the privacy regulator where you live.
Children
This course is designed for adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given me their details, please contact me and I will delete them.
Keeping your information safe
I use reputable services with their own security protections, keep access to your details limited to me, and only collect what I need. No online service can be completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
